This year due to COVID restrictions in Nashville, we are unable to hold our typical in person legislative conference. Instead, we hope you can join us for our Spring Virtual Meeting March 11-13, 2021. Members will virtually meet with fellow members from across the state to get the latest on HBAT’s advocacy efforts, participate in committee meetings, and furthering the mission and goals of the association. Our voice remains critical in making housing affordable and available in Tennessee.
Meeting agenda will follow soon.
Local HBA directors are invited to schedule a local Legislative Day in Nashville. Space limitations do cap group size to 10 local HBA members. However, our team plans to provide tailored programing for each local’s interests.

This one-day event includes a legislative strategy meeting at the HBAT office covering legislative priorities, strategic outreach, your elected officials committee assignments, and special insights on how the legislative process works.

Depending on your arrival time we will work with your local EO to arrange visiting members to meet with their elected officials. We believe the opportunity for conversation and fellowship is a critical part of our grassroots outreach. Your relationship with your Senator and Representative helps us reinforce our advocacy the housing industry and construction in Tennessee.
For those locals interested in taking part in our Legislative Day, please reach out to Charles Schneider to schedule your day.
