Tennessee Home Builders Association Committee

Uses combined knowledge and experience to assist state leaders in achieving the association’s long and short-term objectives. Also assists in the identification of future association leaders.

In accordance with the association’s bylaws, recruits and screens a slate of candidates to be considered for the elected positions of the association. Reviews and/or proposes bylaws changes and association resolutions in preparation of Board adoption.

Acts as a forum for the exchange of ideas and facilitates the communication and education of the Tennessee local association Executive Officers.

Responsible for reviewing and making recommendations to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee on matters relating to the finances and budget of the association.

Oversees and coordinates the state legislative activities and programs of the association in order to execute its public policy, goals and objectives.

Acts as a forum for the exchange of ideas and facilitates the coordination and promotion of state association events, activities, programs and services with local leadership. Facilitates the identification and recruitment of new members of the association and promotes involvement in all association programs and activities. This committee also identifies, plans, develops and monitors association sponsored services and benefits to facilitate membership growth, membership worth and if possible, non-dues income.

Oversees and coordinates the state and federal political activities and programs of the association in order to execute its public policy goals and objectives. Also establishes fundraising goals and facilitates the accomplishment of said goals.

Develops programs, events and services to support the goals and needs of the associate members of the association.
