After completing any of the following options to earn Continuing Education (CE) credits, please fully complete and submit the form on Page 2 (and any other necessary proof) to your local Executive Officer. The Executive Officer will then forward your submissions to the state as proof of completed Continuing Education.
Option #1: NAHB Webinars
Step 1: If you do not already have an NAHB account, create a log in at NAHB.org/register.
Step 2: Use the search bar and search for “Upcoming Webinars” to find a list of upcoming live
webinars. This list can also be found through the “Education” tab under “Education
and Events,” and NAHB also sends a list of upcoming live webinars to NAHB members.
Register for the webinar you would like to attend and join at its scheduled time.
Step 3: After attending the webinar, you will recieve a certificate of completion. Please send
this certificate along with the form on Page 2 to your Local EO as proof of CE.
Option #2: NAHB Shop Talks
Step 1: If you do not already have an NAHB account, create a log in at NAHB.org/register.
Step 2: Use the search bar and search for “Shop Talks and Town Halls” to find a list of upcoming
live Shop Talks. This list can also be found here. Register for the shop talk you would like to attend and join at its scheduled time.
Step 3: After attending the shop talk, you will recieve a certificate of completion. Please send
this certificate along with the form on Page 2 to your Local EO as proof of CE.
Option #3: Earn CE Through Local Events
Check with your local association about upcoming events that qualify for CE credit.
This can include local HBA membership meetings, trainings, educational seminars,
membership orientations, and similar activities.
Option #4: Earn CE Through TN Courses, HBAT State Meetings, and Government Affairs Meetings
(1) Check HBAT’s website for upcoming CE Courses taught by Tennessee instructors.
(2) HBAT’s three State Meetings (Legislative Conference, Summer Meeting, and Fall Meeting)
can be attended for CE credits.
(3) HBAT Government Affairs meetings can be attended for one hour of CE credit.
